Real Wedding :: Natasha + Rob

This incredibly beautiful wedding was captured by the sublime Lillian and Leonard, a husband and wife photography team based in Scotland. The wedding took place at the West Stoke House in Chichester in the UK. The wedding was an absolute vision styled to express Jane Austin.

Sunday Pic :: Retro Love

I'm not sure if this wedding was retro or not - but to me, it looks like it's straight out of the sixties. I love the capture of light and movement.

Real Wedding :: Meghan + Bobby (Ceremony}

If there is one thing that every single newlywed will tell you - it's that your wedding day goes by in the blink of an eye. Everything happens in a blur, that's why it's so wonderful to have a photographer as talented as Kirstie capture those special moments. When you receive your wedding album and flip through the photos, the pictures offer a glimpse back in time and act as a reminder of forgotten moments.

Real Wedding :: Meghan + Bobby {The Dress}

I received an early Valentine this year - from none other than Kirstie Tweed of Orange Girl Photographs. I am always so delighted when I hear from her - not only to keep in touch, but because I know, without a doubt, when I open the collection she sends me, I will be completely wrapped in visual delight.

Kirstie sent me photos from Meghan + Bobby's splendid wedding in Banff, Alberta, Canada.

This first set of photos is of Meghan's dress. It's not surprising that it is impeccably beautiful and perfect for her, Meghan is clearly a woman of style.

Sunday Pic :: Shoe Shot

Happy New Year to everyone! So sorry I've neglected the blog, and thank you to everyone that has continued to visit.

I thought I'd ease back in to blogging today, with a nice simple picture. Susan Stripling is a wonderful photographer and I always find time to visit her blog, and I'm never disappointed by what I find. If anything, I'm enthralled and inspired. If at all possible, she just gets better and better at what she does.

This photo is an example of her ingenious eye... how many shoe shots have we seen? Hundreds... But I've never seen one quite like this.

So, so pretty.

Thanks again for sharing these images with us Matt!

Real Wedding :: Hope + Adam

I loved our wedding. If I could go back I wouldn't change a thing. But! If I could have another wedding,... or weddings... {same groom of course!} one of them would have to be inspired by this glorious, rustic, intimate, affair.

An outdoor ceremony in the woods, harvest colours, chandeliers in the trees, a campfire, and the bridesmaids in boots!

This wedding was shot by my new friend Matthew Morgan, a super talented photographer from Orange County, California. I came across his blog recently and thought the world of his work and he was gracious enough to share these photos with us.

Stay tuned for some more photos from this adorable wedding.

Real Wedding :: Natasha + Kyle

This is the last installment of Natasha + Kyle's wedding photos {insert pouty face}, but these are some of my favourites - the day-after photo shoot. I couldn't believe it when Kirstie told me it was her first one. Can you imagine what she'll be doing in a year from now?

Words from Kirstie, "This was the first time I photographed a day after session and I loved it! It meant we could go to locations and try things that we weren't able to do on the wedding day and the entire time was so much more relaxed than a rushed scheduled wedding day is for photographs.

Natasha wanted the photos to be a little more relaxed so we went without her veil or Kyle's jacket and tie. The dress was not "trashed" or dirtied or harmed in anyway and we were able to get some of my favourite photographs."

I received the lovliest email from Natasha this morning, she thanking me! I don't often post too much self-appreciation, but what the heck,... "toot, toot!"

Good morning Lisa,

I just wanted to say how thrilled my husband and I are that you have chosen us to be featured on your blog. During our wedding planning process we frequented your blog for ideas. Our wedding would not have been a success with out all your tips and tricks.

I feel very honoured to be on your site to feature Kirstie's amazing work. She is truly talented and we feel that she completely captured our day.

Thank you so much and I hope that my wedding proves to be as much of an inspiration to other brides as the many other blogs on your site were an inspiration to me.

Thank you again,
Sincerely,

Natasha and Kyle

Thank you to you, Natasha + Kyle, and, of course, Kirstie, for thinking of Blush.
