I love weddings. I just do. I think it all began that fateful July day in 1981 when I watched a lady marry a prince. From that day forward Barbie married Ken on a daily basis. Sheets became gowns, curtains became veils and I would dig in the ‘dress-up’ trunk to slip on my mom’s aqua high-heeled shoes with the pointy toes. Then I would twirl in the mirror with my paper flower and pipe cleaner bouquet.
Skip ahead twenty-three years to the planning of my own “real” wedding. I loved it so much I wanted to marry it. So I did. This is how the business became.
